The Reds opened the scoring through Mohamed Salah but Pep Guardiola’s men, who didn’t have Erling Haaland, dominated from start to finish as Jack Grealish inspired the hosts to a massive win.

Grealish set up Julian Alvarez and scored the fourth as he tore Trent Alexander-Arnold apart, and the Reds must pick themselves up and go again on Tuesday against Chelsea.
