SIR JIM RATCLIFFE will invest £245MILLION into Manchester United’s infrastructure as part of his 25 per cent takeover, according to reports.
The British billionaire, 71, will pledge the investment as part of his acquisition which is expected to be worth more than £1.25billion.
According to Sky News, the £245m investment on infrastructure will be staggered.
However, the “majority” of the sum would be given to the club by the end of the year.
This would appear positive news for many Man Utd fans as Old Trafford has been criticised for being old and decaying.
