UK ticket-holder wins £55m EuroMillions jackpot

One UK ticket-holder has won the £55m EuroMillions jackpot in Tuesday’s draw, Camelot has said.

The winning numbers were 11, 17, 28, 32 and 35. The lucky stars were 05 and 06.

The winner will be wealthier than England footballer Harry Kane (£51m), according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

Earlier this month, another UK ticket-holder won a £111.7m jackpot in the EuroMillions draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said players are “urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner”.

Mr Carter added that £30m is generated every week for good causes across the country via lottery ticket sales.

In July last year, an anonymous UK ticket holder won a record jackpot of £195m.
